Upper Room Dining Hall

The Upper Room provides a free hot meal every day from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., in the Upper Room Dining Hall at 1868 Broadway in Placerville.

Do you love to cook? Are you looking for a fun way to be part of a team giving back to the community? Volunteers are always welcome.

Donations of all kinds are very much appreciated. The following items are needed on a regular basis:

Cheese of all sorts
Sour cream
Butter
Canned tomatoes
Green peppers
Mushrooms
Fresh fruit (daily)
Celery
Bacon
Hamburger
Cream of chicken soup
Cream of mushroom soup
Instant coffee
Tea bags
Jelly
Brown paper bags (size #6, lunch size)

Cash donations are always appreciated and grocery store gift certificates are perfect. Donations may be dropped off at the Rectory. Thank you to all those who have given their time, food donations, monetary donations and support to this worthwhile ministry.
